A lifelong resident of Virginia, I grew up in Arlington then attended the University of Virginia. After graduating with degrees in Psychology and Studio Art, I channeled my energies into the world of printing and publishing before realizing my true love was glass. While caring for my growing young family, I searched for a way to express that love of glass in a personal style. In 1997, I discovered a technique combining glass, beadwork and natural treasures with Tiffany style stained glass to create exquisite jewelry and gifts. Continuing my artistic evolution in 2002, I worked with Milenko Katic to learn his unique technique for creating colorful copper jewelry. I now use the best of traditional and cutting edge technology to combine the copper and glass to create new and exciting works of art. Although my work spans many genres of art from traditional to modern, nature is a recurrent theme. I currently live in rural central Virginia with my family. I am a member of two local art cooperatives and exhibit in several shows each year in addition to creating custom works for clients. I look forward to the evolution of my family and artwork. It gives me immense pleasure to be able to create beauty for others to enjoy.
Located in Trevilians, Virginia my studio is open to the public by appointment only. To see my work on exhibit please visit my calendar for a show schedule and listed galleries.
